Let the fun begin! The big day arrives and your Dakota Flight Experience commences. Let the crew take you back in time. let the exciting and romantic years of air travel come back to life again…
The program:
A warm welcome by our cabin crew with a complimentary drink.
Once you`re comfortable we`ll show a short film about the significant history of the Douglas DC-3 Dakota
Once submerged into the atmosphere we`ll take you to the aeroplane on the apron. You get the chance to experience a pre flight `walk around` together with your pilot. Great fun, interesting with super photo opportunities.
Embark the glamourous lady and enjoy the flight safety briefing given to you by our professional cabin staff once you`re seated.
Now it;s time to start the engines and do some flying. During the flight you`ll be invited to take the rare opportunity to visit the flight deck during flight. and see the spectacular sights of the dutch country side below you.
Once landed safely at the airfield it`s time to leave the aeroplane.
After disembarking you get a special gift to remember your participation in our Dakota Flight Experience.
DDA Classic Airlines operates 2 DC-3 Dakota’s. One is called `doornroosje` dutch for sleeping beauty and is in a Martin air charter livery. Our other DC-3 is Princess Amalia and currently displays a retro KLM livery. On the booking page you’ll find what aircraft has been scheduled to what flight. (subject to change).
