During the spring the colourful sights of flowering bulb
fields are a typical Dutch landmark. And what could be
more beautiful than to look at the breathtaking colours
from the sky. Step aboard our Royal Douglas DC-3
Dakota and fly as a Friend of DDA Classic Airlines over
the Keukenhof and the Bollenstreek..

From March 31 to May 6, the Royal DC-3 Dakota departs every Saturday and Sunday from Jet Center at Schiphol-Oost for 30-minute sightseeing flights over the colourful bulb fields. From this historic plane, once the first official government aircraft of the Netherlands, the view at a height of about 300 meters is fantastic. Enjoy the beauty of the tulips from
the air.

Dakota Experience
Before departure the passengers walk around the plane and the pilot tells the life story of the 'Princess Amalia'. Our Royal PBA played an important role in the liberation of the Netherlands during WWII. After the war this DC-3 became
the first official government plane in the Netherlands. You will also hear, among other things, how the elevators work
and how many horsepower the piston engines deliver. Questions can be asked during this Dakota Experience. On
board you will find a logbook magazine in the seat bag in front of you and after the flight everyone will receive a certificate. This historic Dakota flies at an altitude of 1,000 feet (more than 300 meters) so you have great views
through the large windows. You can take the magazine home as a souvenir.

The flight costs, including the Dakota Experience and private donor ship, 135 euros. Friends of DDA Classic Airlines receive a 25-euro discount. Reservations can be made via this website or by e-mail.
