All schedulled flight will be canceled for the 2020 season.

April 24, 2020

DDA Classic Airlines will cancel all scheduled flights for the 2020 season.

The announcements on 21 April by our Prime Minister regarding the policy to prevent the spread of the Corona virus do not allow DDA Classic Airlines to make scenic flights with paying passengers with the Royal DC-3 Dakota PH-PBA in the coming period.

The expectations for sufficient paying passengers for the scenic flights of the remaining months of the flight season (August to October) are not optimistic.

As a result, the Board has decided that these remaining months of the 2020 flight season will no scenic flights will be executed. All passengers who have booked a scenic flight will be offered a voucher for a flight during the next season or there will be a refund of the amount paid.

In order to maintain the prospect of healthy operations in 2021, it was decided to take a number of cost-saving measures. The PH-PBA, for example, will be flown to Gilze Rijen in early May, where the Royal Netherlands Air Force Historical Flight Foundation will offer hospitable accommodation until March 2021.

The publication of the bimonthly magazine 'Logboek' will be continued.

These decisions have been taken with great reluctance, but they offer us a real opportunity to keep an eye on continuity.

We wish everyone all good health and patience in the coming period.
